Grupthink was a novel concept when it launched in 2006, being one of the first dedicated Q&A platforms, and predating sites like Yahoo! Answers and Stack Overflow. Some Grupthink features remain uniquely powerful, such as ranked, instant-runoff voting, member similarity scores, and topic "time traveling."
